Cormons - Pinot Grigio Rosander
This inimitable rosé was created thanks to the fortunate revival of an ancient tradition: Unlike today where Pinot Grigio is always vinified off the skins, at one time, above all in Alto Adige, this grape, that derives from a bud mutation of Pinot Nero, was vinified on the skins, and produced a splendid copper coloured wine, full of chromatic hues. With this rosé Cantina Produttori Cormòns completes its range of matchless Pinot wines.

It is an excellent wine for all meals: the pink berries produce a wine that is copper coloured and full of light, similar to the colour of the Dolomites at sunset. The intense aroma that has scents of acacia flowers and banana accompanies the velvety bitterness of the aftertaste.

Its rounded flavour moves freely from fish to cold meat hors d’oeuvres, from gnocchi with meat sauce to Milanese saffron risotto, from pasta with aubergines to risottos with herbs. Excellent with liver dishes and boiled meats, "baccalà alla veneziana", a dish with dried cod. It should be enjoyed at 11°C in summer and at 14°C in winter, served in a long-stemmed glass, with a wide and generous tulip shaped bowl.
