Very deep red/violet colour with purple edges. The nose is elegant and savoury with richness and sweetness from fermentation in new barriques. The palate is intense and concentrated with pungent fruit with palate length gained from oak sweetness and depth from high quality Nero d’Avola. The palate persists with richness and sweetness with dark cherry and assertive tannins at the end.
